I couldn't help it - I had to ink that page! Thanks JB for making me feel inspired again.

Not bad! Little more variation in line, tho. Think foreground/background.

Also, you left out the little scribbles I add to nighttime windows to create “life”.

I feel those inks somehow add a "George Perez vibe" to the page -- interesting

Nice job

Paul, you just got a "not bad" on your inks over John Byrn e by John Byrne. I don't know what I'd do...

Thanks Nathan! Of course, another influence. The top guys in my day were Byrne & Perez. Over the years I learned to really appreciate the earlier generation of artists more and more - Kirby, Ditko, Romita, Adams. I met Jack Kirby at my comic book shop late in his career and he was such a great guy and was still passionate about comics. I just wish I could find my comics that he signed!

Brian - I know! But I'm sure I'll wake up soon and realize it was just a dream.

I see Marvel are planning an 'event' for next March rewriting history....<yawn>... I  imagine this might make any potential timing of JB's Elsewhen a bit awkward, sadly.

another version of the news:

But wait!  Maybe Marvel has come to their senses and is erasing everything back to 1980 and starting fresh on a new and better track, starting with Elsewhen!

(of course not, but in some reality somewhere that's what the Watcher is watching)

*updated with working link

Oh yeah, that's a great one.  "Marvel history is destroyed" because it wasn't any good to begin with. Seems like a kid who starts destroying all his former favourite toys because he has outgrown them and has no imagination left to use them as they should.
