If this project comes to term, the sales will talk and I expect close some mouths. We must learn to ignore stupid comentaries in the net that only want to hurt/disturb people.

It possibly may backfire, but I think we need to bully JB into this!

I mean he can't just prick tease us with all his saucy pencils!

What if I was one of those “teams”? ;)

Hey, man, any tie-ins with HIDDEN YEARS would be appreciated by many, I'm sure!

I understand your concern  Mr Byrne.

But these days everyone seems to accept easily divergent storylines: DC Comics seems to do it every month with a brand new label.

X-Men storylines are so convoluted that having read some of the series for years is not enough to understand what's going on now...
I can't imagine what it is for new readers.

"Elsewhen" on the contrary is a simplier take on these great character from one of the best storytellers!

I don't believe those internet voices are that strong.

That's what I used to think. You know, before I saw my career demolished by self-fulfilling prophecies like "Byrne's stuff does't sell."

I'm sad to read that.

As I was when "Hidden Years" ended for no serious reason.

However I'm more optimistic about X-Men Elsewhen. Can't say why...

This put a smile on my face that should stay for a couple of days. I know people are hoping beyond hope this actually gets published, but JB has already said it will see the light of day in some way or another. The future is so bright I gotta wear shades!

Before anyone gets too excited, remember there is an 800lb gorilla in the room. One that was introduced years after I left UNCANNY--but introduced by me (with help).

Been scripting pages, and finding it hard to get back into the rhythms. For the past few years I have been typing my scripts ON THE PAGE, ballooning as I went. Strange to go back to...

12 STORM: And I have dealt with your kind before!

13 STORM: SPRITE! Get under cover!

14 CAPTION: Kitty is not yet used to her code name.

15 CAPTION: It takes her a moment to react.
