And I notice the video runtime is 4:44 - either a fun coincidence, or the editor is a fan of JB’s FANTASTIC FOUR with a sense of humor!

Count me among those who would purchase a Marvel comic for the first time in years!
I love getting a peek inside your studio. Look at all those reference books (and figures)!

Wow!
Thanks to Andrew for the heads up about the JB interview video :)

Tho It`s apparently geo-blocked for us poor Aussies...
But I managed to see it anyway - thank goodness!

As much fun as it is to visit the forum every day, hear from JB and lately see these gorgeous new X-Men pages, it was even more of a blast to see and hear John in the interview!
Going to sleep now with a huge grin on my face....

Strange self-observation, I dread the fate of Jean Grey in this series in a way that actually adds a little salt to my vast eagerness for this to become real.

In other words, should my fond wish for this series come true, a tiny part of me will say "oh no!"

I like the #0 issue idea --

Just a thought: If there's better copies of the pencils out there, the Elsewhen inker could re-ink that story -- and JB could rescript it -- for a more consistent flow into the series.

Either way, it's a fun way to launch the series (if it happens)!

I'd buy an Untold Phoenix as #0 if it was corrected, undoing whatever Terry Austin was made to 'fix', and whatever dialogue was different from what had been intended at the time.

I'm really glad we didn't get a hissing 'ss'es Nightcrawler. It would've worn thing pretty quick especially alongside all the foreign language exclamations (Colossus and Nightcrawler), and dialect (Banshee). I like the idea of him being from a parallel dimensions kind of like Phantom Girl in the Legion, that could've tied in well with the whole Belasco/Illyana thing which I found totally random happening to her and the X-Men otherwise (and there was that awful tribute to Dave Sim character, ugh).

For those finding the video geoblocked, VPNs are a
wonderful thing.

Curious references to this work having been done “on spec”, which of course it wasn’t. There was no thought in my mind of pursuing new work at Marvel when I started this.

Stan said “Never give the fans what they think they want.” If this turns into a series, what I have in mind for Jean will totally flout Stan’s “rule”.   But, then, in this case I’M the fan whose getting what he wants!

(There’s a full page splash I have in mind that will be very hard to draw thru the tears in my eyes. ”Cry for happy!”)
