I wrote a letter to Marvel ages ago, and I drew a
picture on the envelope of Colossus burning his costume
and things in a metal barrel. Not too long after that
there was a scene in the X-Men of him burning his things
in a metal barrel. The "that was my idea" thought was
not negative, but positive. I hoped that I inspired the
writer but will never know if I did.

Anyone who takes people to court with a hair trigger
reaction is messed up in my book.

I just wanna say that if this gets official status it'll be the first time I buy single Marvel comic book issues in more than a decade. Will you turn me into an addict once again, sir?

I have no idea how I'd do it nowadays (it was Mile High Comics through mail back in the day), but I'm sure it wouldn't be that complicated.

I wonder... I “hate” the numbered Earths, but that might be a good way to sell this thing...

If it's what it takes let's do it.

I don't care about the issues raised about "continuity" or stuff like that. A good comic book is a good comic book.

And I really want to read Elsewhen!

I finally had time to finish colouring that page. I’m pretty happy with it but I think I have a lot to learn still.

Tony Marin: You did a phenomenal job with that
page! I'd love to see how you handle the
entire issue. Such stunning inks (almost a
Kyle Baker softness) really bring the page to
life.

Thanks Mike. I want to try more. That Wolverine splash page is really tempting.

I remember reading (probably in OHOTMU), that the story printed in PHOENIX: THE ONTOLD STORY (just noticed my typo, but I like it) is the establishment of Rachel Summer's/Days Of Future Past timeline - so if you take that as gospel, you already have one!

Phil Jimenez shared on Instagram today that he is trying his hand at inking some of these pages. Nice to see that other pros are excited about this project as well.

Phil Jimenez ? Wow intriguing...Has a Byrne/Jimenez team already happened ? It would be great to have famous pros on the inking board (!) as well !

That looks great! Man I was just looking through his instragram account now. So much great stuff he’s doing. If we’re talking about famous inkers on the project, I’d loved to see someone like Kevin Nowlan. I know he can be overpowering but I really just want to see what that combo will produce. I’ve seen him  ink Jurgens, Sprouse and Bogdanove in the past and you could still see their style shine through.

I really like Phil Jimenez, which makes sense, I suppose, since I am a big George Perez fan. Heh. I hope he inks more of the art! If this thing gets realized by Marvel and becomes an actual publication,  I wouldn't mind seeing Jimenez as inker.
