I really enjoy this thread, and will enjoy it all the more now that I'm on a collecting hiatus.

I'm fine Ger.  Just taking a break to save some money for the twins.  I still have some art(already paid for) that will trickle in for the next few months

I thought it was Chan, though didn't see that penciller coming. ;)

I'll echo Ari's comment about digging this thread. Not only am I enjoying seeing the pieces, but the dialogue is a hoot as well.... and I just commisioned Neil Vokes to do a reinterpretation of the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #152 for me. Something I wouldn't have even thought of if I hadn't seen that Electro/DD piece here. Can't wait to see his take on that scene or his depiction of all of that electricity and those shockwaves... hmm, the original comic.... then a Hembeck..... and coming soon, a Vokes.... who is next and do I continue with that cover or move to Marvel Team-Up #70 or Amazing Spider-Man #170?

Does anyone have contact info for Neil Vokes?  I'm considering maybe getting a commission.
