I've got a series of "DD in San Francisco" commissions I'd like to get done.  This is one that Neil Vokes had started prior to my financial issues (already paid for before I came to my senses and started paying off my debt!)

Once all the debt is gone, I may see if Neil would be interested in doing the entire SFO series.  This one turned out so dang good!  A big thank you do Ari (and Gerry!) for suggesting Neil to me.

btw...they're battling at the famous Castro Theatre in San Francisco.

Enjoy!

Damn Craig... Volkes continues to impress me with his superhero commission work. I may have to sit down and think about getting him to do something for me....

Wow! That Neil Vokes piece is great. I might have to jump on that bandwagon as well.

I had just won this off eBay around the time Ari Shapiro had asked about ink wash. Now I'm just getting it loaded onto the forum. This is typical of my original artwork--I buy it on the cheap. I just love art, it doesn't have to be a splash page of two major characters battling, I like to look at the artwork (especially with lettering (art in itself)).

Pencils are Gary Kwapisz with inks (wash) by Ernie Chan. As John Peter Britton had stated in your original question about ink wash, it does look like water color. It is cool to see in person.
