Has anyone else seen this reproduction of Doom's mask?

Ha! That's horrible!

No wonder it's on sale.

I just saw one over at Sideshow that might even be worse than the Palisades Doom.
(obviously, I have a bit of free time at work today and I'm surfing the toy sites.)

Attempts to model Doom's mask -- and this includes the one we used as a cover on FF -- fail because of an odd need/desire on the part of the sculptors to make it all one piece. I mean, come on! Look at how Kirby drew it! Look at how I drew it! The jaw is clearly separate. The "eyebrows" are separate. The "grill work" in the mouth is set back and not part of either upper or lower jaws.

Too bad, really. I'd like to have a good one, tucked away in a corner of my studio!

You do the best Doom, man. Look at that face!
I love that drawing.
And you're right, it would be cool to own that mask.

That reproduction looks more like a Jimmy Olsen Metal Man than Doom.

I don't know if this is appropriate and I'll apologize if so, but somebody went ahead and created a "Gaslight Justice League" custom jobs. The Flash and Aquaman are favorites. Seriously, that's some good work I think...

Nice Obi-wan. Not only is the likeness good, but I like the expression of focus in his eyes as he wields his lightsaber.
