Here's an eBay/statue-bust sales site I use now and again.  No action figures, though.

Thanks Ryan -- cool site.  It did TWO things -- it confirmed I own too many mini-busts AND that I've lost about 50% of my retail investment - so I should just not buy retail any more and buy 2nd hand on eBay....

I can't believe that Vindicator/Guardian is selling in the $100 range  (ugh!)  I might have to unload mine to help finance the Guardian commission.....(hehehe)

If we get Guardian done, my bust is history.

I've been crunching the numbers -- I'd like to do it - even with lesser people than for Superman.  I'm thinking of getting a mold/casting kit from a hobby store, pumping out a cast of the current Guardian and practicing painting (with an air-brush and hand brush) -- Guardian shouldn't bee too hard -- and it would keep costs WAY down.

No. But it's as close as I would ever honestly expect to see.

********

So, for someone like myself that customizes action figures, how is the bust different from what you envisioned?  I'd like to do my Guardian up right.

Altho I sometimes "cheated" to allow a greater range of "expression", I
intended that Guardian's mask/helmet be smooth across his face, not
contoured to his features. As if it was the top half of Iron Man's mask,
rather than Batman's.

The helmet curve of the mask was always Guardian´s most distinctive trait.

+++++++

Yep. And that's why the mini-bust doesn't look quite right, since the mask wraps around his nose.

A good example of that...
