Well done, Pat. I'm looking forward to that bust arriving, mate!

That 'Bob Kane' Batman B&W looks really nice, too.

With regard to the Devil Dinosaur & Moon Boy statue/bust - I think it'd have to be done in the style of Jack Kirby. I can't imagine anyone who's a fan of those characters wanting a 'realistic' dinosaur, with a 'realistic' pre-human riding on his back. That's my problem with their reintroduction in HFH - they're drawing Moon Boy in an uncharacteristic way. He's supposed to be 'the first human', not a chimpanzee.

Personally, I think it'd work best as a mini-bust.  If you had a full sculpt of Moon Boy, and a partial sculpt of Devil (just enough for Moon Boy to be sitting upon), I think this would look better than a larger statue with a tiny Moon Boy perched atop it.

Neal Adams Black and White Batman Statue from DC Direct.

I like the pose, but Batman's jawline seems off. And he has the modern cowl,
rather than the one that Neal Adams drew. They just need to change the
whole head.

Pat,

I think the Superman looks pretty cool. Does the sculptor have a web-site?

Hi Andy -- actually, the artist / sculptor has asked me to not post any info like that on board.  But you can email me at    patditton@aol.com   and I can fill you in.

That was my thought when I saw the Adams Batman photo, Michael.  Let's hope it gets changed by the time it sees production.

Did anyone catch that it was sculpted by Neal's son,"Spyda"?  Nice.

JB, at the risk of asking a question already answered, is that the way you envisioned Guardian's helmet?

Question for youse guys.

Does anyone know of a decent on line action figure price guide? I've been looking and have not been able to find one that covers any decent range of items. Any assist would be appreciated.

Back to our normal programming.

These two were the least useless sites I could find, Brian. Hope they help. I'm not exactly a master of the google arts, but I had a go at it anyhow! :)

Thanks, Simon. I've seen the second one, but otherwise, they are pretty hard to come by. And of course the guide in ToyFare each month just scrapes the surface of whats out there. Might be time for a trip to Barnes & Noble or Borders to see if I can find anything there.

••

No. But it's as close as I would ever honestly expect to see.
