I have been using:

But this list has several errors. There are books list as doing cover art, that is not John and same with interior art.

I searched and didn’t see a question like this asked.

I am attempting to collect all published art John has done. Any help is appreciated.

Your best bet, if you are truly dedicated, is to connect with another
completist and put together the first comprehensive list. Even legendary
fans find themselves running across new “secrets” pretty regularly. No one
knows all the places John Byrne’s work has appeared!

There used to be a member here named Mike O’Brien who was the
unofficial “official historian” here. I don’t know if he is reachable, but if he is
then his knowledge would be a great help in your quest!

Not sure if it's completely accurate, but there's also Mike's Amazing World

Yeah there are even glaring omissions on Mike’s Amazing World

I can use this as a catalyst and add what I have already seen that is missing.

The interesting statistic from that site is that JB is #5 on all-time penciller page count - but if you exclude the artists that are no longer with us, he's #1.

I extrapolated and tried to find the #1 writer-artist of all time, and even though it's hard to get the number of actual combined writer-penciller pages, I thought that JB would be the clear winner. But actually, Dan Jurgens is up there as well.

Has Jurgens really written/drawn that much? Outside of Booster Gold and
Superman, what has he done double duty on? Did he write the Spider-Man
series he drew? JRjr drew Thor.

Of course, this could all be very wrong, But according to the site, Jurgens has 17,394 pages of writing, and 11,566 of pencilling. I'm assuming that the double-duty page count is a majority of at least the pencilling number. The pattern of writer-artists seems to be that the number of stories that they write but don't draw is a small percentage of their total work.

Even if these numbers are off from reality, it does seem that JB and Jurgens lead in writer-artist page count by a mile, because nobody else even comes close.

EDIT: Welp, looks like I experienced what happens when one assumes. Going by Story Count by exporting the pages and running a line count, JB has 567 stories as both writer and penciller/artist. Jurgens has only 289. Jurgens had a lot more writer-only issues than I assumed. Jurgens Writer-only story count is 492, JB's is 142.

Their art-only story count is closer, though - 219 for Jurgens, 228 for JB (though if you include plotter/co-plotter credits like the the UXM run, that goes up to 277)

JB looks to be the clear winner, living or otherwise, in double-duty Writer/Artist story count with 567 (616 if you count plot/co-plot). Jack Kirby has 492.

There goes my standard joke about my entire output being what Kirby did his first year in the Biz...!!!

I'm going out on a limb to say that your Writer-Artist record will never be beaten by anyone else in the remaining time of this industry.
