I'm semi-retired, I work about 15 hours a week at a place I like, though the commute is a bit of a pain. I do it because I can't make it on SS alone, but that's okay, even I get stir crazy after a while. This way I at least have an excuse to get out of the house three times a week, and the walk is good for me.
In thinking about what JB said, I am reminded of how the great Charles Schulz worked pretty much until he died, and how he criticized Bill Watterson for ending Calvin & Hobbes, but I understand that Mr. Schulz believed you simply worked until you dropped. Up to him, I guess, but the sad truth is that Peanuts had really deteriorated in the last fifteen or so years of its run. Calvin never jumped the shark, and in my opinion, neither did JB. Hope he enjoys his retirement!
