Right now, I feel he could cause the death of
tens of millions of Americans and the knuckle
draggers would find some reason for it to not
be his fault.
If he cause the death of tens of millions of
non-Americans, his knuckle dragging supporters
wouldn't even care.

He did once say he could kill somebody on Fifth Avenue and get away with it.

He pretty much has.

"The language in the amendment proposed exempts a person who served two consecutive terms as President.  Obviously, just to exempt Obama..."

No need to invent indignation. Trumf and Musk will provide plenty of reasons for the real thing.

Yup. They're already living and breathing it, playing at being grown-ups ; only a matter of time for everything to fall apart into comedic idiocy. Trump is unskilled, unable, uninformed - and unhinged.

What a joke the USA has become - the world is currently laughing straight into your face, while also fearing what might come next with Trumf in charge.

It would be interesting to roll forward a hundred years or so and see what history made of 45/47.

As a history buff, especially for WW2, I am beyond weary of references to Musk’s “Nazi salute”. The gesture used by the Nazis, which predated them by thousands of years, was a stiff arm raised AND HELD, not the limp wave offered by Elon.

I didn't see a limp wave. I saw an aggressive, energetic Roman Salute. I don't know how else to describe it other than... A Nazi salute. I think it's very unlikely Musk made that gesture by accident.

He’s certainly smart enough to nod, wink and wave…which I think he did here.  Meaning, he knew what he was doing and did it anyway.  He’s Musk.  He’s a provocateur. That’s what he does.

You’re forcing me to defend Musk dammit.
There are plant of non-AI shots of other people doing that gesture. Do we
lump them in with the same thing?
I understand context & form are also relevant here, but there is plenty of
indefensible stuff that could & probably should be focused on.

I agree with JB, although I engaged in this muck up as well. Although I don’t agree that it’s just nothing, there are certainly other things to worry about.  Musk will be Musk.  Carry on.

Only in freeze frame. Seen in real time Musk sweeps his hand out from his chest and holds his arm stiff for barely a second. Blink and you miss it.

This is another instance, like marching morons with tiki torches, of trivializing the Nazis. Something we should never do.
