 | I agree with Gerry. That Roth Beast is sweet. And the Avengers page doesn't hurt the eye either. :) |

 | I went to the Big Apple Con yesterday and walked away with 3 nice peices. It seemed the most appropriate to begin with a beautiful print that I picked up from Joe Sinnott. Had a great chat with him and his son.

Nice print Fred. How is Joe Sinnott doing?

He looked better than the last time I saw him at Comic Con, which was only a few days before he fell ill. He and his son both reported that he was feeling much better. I got the impression both when I e-mailed him expressing my well wishes and when I talked with them on Saturday that his son keeps a close eye on him and is a great advocate for him.

 | Next up is a nice Micheal Gaydos page from the Pulse. Micheal was a really nice guy to talk with, talked about Dark Horse approaching him to do a GOON limited series that he is now working on and drew a cool sketch that I'll post soon. Given the direction that Marvel has decided to move Captain America in, this page seemed even more moving than it did when published.

Carlos Pacheco (don't hit me Paul)
 Doug Braithwaite
 John McCrea and more

Sadly no Jim Lee as the queues were nightmarish. Took me 3 hours in total for Carlos. Well worth the wait though. He is a gentleman. It won't be a "never meet your hero" story if you ever get to meet him Paul.

Was that Hulk/Wolverine piece something Trimpe just had with him to sell?
