I am utterly baffled so no speculation coming from me. Think it would help me if I re-read the whole series. My brain can barely remember what happened a few pages (days) back so I certainly can't connect with things from issues (weeks and months) back. Still enjoying the ride though!

Understood. I was saying that I won't believe anyone who says they saw that particular twist coming because it's such a curve ball.
This page has also got me thinking about Alt-Jean's uniform. Is that something she would have designed herself or did Magneto choose it for her?

It only hit me with this last page that one of the themes (maybe that's the wrong word) of Elsewhen is Two Jeans at a Time. It's been illuminating to see the real Jean compared and contrasted with her doppelgangers. It's clearer to me than ever before what Real Jean Grey's personality is and isn't.

Teleporters sure are handy. ••• Yes, but I’m not sure I’d want to ride in one!

Great wrench in the works today! That'll add ANOTHER 90 degree twist to the story - LOVE IT!
And boy, that Jimmy Olsen can be really mean...

This page has also got me thinking about Alt-Jean's uniform. Is that something she would have designed herself or did Magneto choose it for her?•• As far back as the fake WHAT IF? cover that inspired this little jaunt, I was assuming Magneto was the designer.

Irony - a character (Oracle) that is now half-cyborg proclaiming that "Biology is child's play to our technology".
The Oracle situation still creeps me out!

Is Gladiator the last of his people? If not, I hope the Strontians are a peaceful folk...

"Biology is child's play to our technology".•• One year's free membership in the JBF to the first of you to guess what I was distantly hinting at with that line!

Is Gladiator the last of his people?•• I suppose this comes down to how literal we are about him being Superboy/man. The Legion, after all, was the place where DC most vigorously de-uniqued all the characters!
