Spider-Man’s movement was about the only thing the movies got right. I had a definite Holy Cow moment when I saw the trailer for the first one. It really had not occurred to me that he’d be moving so FAST. T’wasn’t enough to salvage the movies, tho. Too much screen time was spent crapping on Stan and Steve.

God dang, I love me some Byrne Spider-Man. I swear, these are new poses I have never seen Spidey in before. The first one of him descending has a weight and realism to it that feels like true acrobatics.
Looking forward to what he makes out of his web!

* It's part of the challenge. Can't have combatants fall behind a bar and have one emerge victorious.*
Nice little Wolverine/Lobo dig...? Forget all the other abilities, in that last panel Spider-man’s core strength must be off the charts! Love it, and that Gladiator splash is magnificent. One question, when was it first revealed that Oracle was a cyborg? I must have missed that but.
Best comics reading in years, thanks a bundle mate.

I love that last panel because it shows Spider-Man spinning a web (any size!) with his hands. As opposed to forming wings or a parachute straight from the shooters.

That last panel of Spider-man on today's page is so DItko! Cool!

Spider-Man complaining about getting a mask-full of Nightcrawler's brimstone is pretty funny. Can't say it's too surprising that the net didn't hold a teleporter though.

Agreed. It does seem odd that Spidey is surprised that Kurt escaped. Maybe he though he had his anti-teleport web cartridge loaded?

How many heads are going to explode at the "Squirrel Girl" reference? Heh.

I'm not entirely certain, but I think it has been a long time since Spider-Man created anything out of webbing. That giant sack is AWESOME!

I liked the head shake to disperse the lingering traces of brimstone. Nice touch! And how many remember that Squirrel Girl was a Steve Ditko creation? Nice to have his most famous reference his last (as far as I know).

Spidey is fun. Pure fun.
Is there a better superhero to have make a guest appearance in any comic book?
In JB's hands, the dialog---heck, all of it---seems effortless. (I know it's not.)
Thanks.
