Now that you're a number of issues in, is there a scene or moment in the story that makes you go "WOW!!", either artistically or writing-wise?

May I ask,
Have you started the process of auditioning/considering any professional inkers for the project?

Here's a couple of random Cyclops questions:
In the interview in 1982 for the X-Men Companion, Chris said that you guys disagreed on how Cyclops sees color, with you proposing that Scott's mind "overlays" colors on what he sees rather than Chris' opinion that all Scott sees is red. Do you still feel that's the case? That Scott "sees" colors?
And how do you envision Scott's power working? There was once a debate whether it was generated from his body or that his eyes were a portal to a ruby force dimension.

1) Yep2) Stan established that Scott stored and converted solar radiation. The "force dimension" nonsense came from OHOTMU--one more example of that book exceeding its mandate.

Another question —
With every team book you do, you always seems to be a favored character — for example: Wolverine/X-Men, Sue/FF, Jazz/Next Men...
Are you finding that character in this new series?
If “yes”, do you mind telling us who?
I have a feeling it may not be Wolverine (again) this time around... but I could be wrong!

Well, I’m hesitant to feed the trolls by providing them with data they can burrow into, but this is, of course, the first opportunity I’ve had to work extensively with Kitty. (There’s an alternate reality! What if, when I quit, I’d asked to take Kitty with me?)

Had you taken Kitty with you, Jubilee probably would have had a much earlier debut. Or Boom-Boom. And the character likely would have been the teen super-genius "Mary Sue" - smart as Reed Richards, able to take the Hulk to a draw in a fight, and "possibly the greatest threat to the planet that we've ever seen - even moreso than Phoenix!"
