Hey - thanks guys! I love coming to this thread and seeing all the great
work everybody's doing, and the JB forum in particular to get away from
all of the 'comic book negativity' on the internet. Its good to be amongst
people with the same interests I have!

Vladimir + Matthew - thanks for the compliments (and Matthew - I'm
sure my coloring is helping you learn what NOT to do - heh!)

Anthony - thanks also - I hope everything worked out with your client
and the 'Vans shoe character'! I love seeing all your Valiant stuff - wish I
could see you draw a whole book (and then post it, so I can color that
too!)! An 'old-school' Turok/Magnus/Solar/X-O book by Castrillo would
kick @$$!

Looking forward to seeing more from everybody! I'll have to start
drawing more myself!

-Greg

Black, Gold and Red plumeage...it's like you read my mind! The only three things that are wrong are the toe-caps, sash and Trojans left leg [that's the bent leg] The leg should be black also and the sash and toe-caps were to marry up with the plumeage' red.

Beyond what you couldn't have possibly known, the colouring and the "context" (Sky) is excellent. Thanks very much for taking the time to do this.

You colourists are secretive little devils, huh!?

No matter how often I say "Ask me, I'll send you a larger copy to work from", folk are still busy scratching away on the smaller posted versions;-)

The rendering on the "Black" side is fantastic Greg.

Marc & Greg, if you guys are wanting to submit to the 100th sketchbook page and go down in history, please don't wait for a formal invite. Just sketch something up...could be as simple as a head shot. Make it of one of JB's characters and email it to me @ dtaylor7@freenet.co.uk

You only have today to do it as midinight Tuesday night is the deadline.

Come on, you know you want to.

-Darren
