 QUOTE:
[James]should the piece be inked as well?

"No"....IMO that then misses the point of "sketch".

 QUOTE:
[Bill]W/o deadlines I'm pretty much a flake.

Okay, it's likely that we'll hit 100 on or around Monday/Tuesday...dependandt on "traffic". I'm -not- fussed about the image "making" the 100th page, just that -we- appreciate it's passing.

If everyone can have their sketch to me via email on Tuesday...I'll put it altogether on Wednesday morning (GMT-my time!)

The more that take part, the more special it becomes.

Now that I'm suitable lossedned up...I can try and do a sketch for the 100th page...

Nice piece D !!!
Who is he?
Regarding the 100th post piece, can everyone post who you're
drawing, just so there is no confusion. If two or more post the
same character, it will kill the general idea.
Good luck on piecing this together D.

Thanks Anthony...this character is just a name at present...Trojan.

I've started inking it...with a brush! Normally that's not a shock but I've been -so- intent on bringing my "pen" inking up to standard I've sort of let my brush inking slide. As such I -think- the last time I picked up my brush was about six months ago...I'm a little "off-the-ball" but still, I notice some important lessons appear to have been learned that are filtering through.

In regards the 100th jam piece...email me when you're done dude. I don't think it'll matter if we have "doubles" as this is just a "sketch" page. It's not a "Jam" page where we all need to establish the same perspective plane etc.

Just do your best sketch of a Byrne character and to hell with it;-)

-Darren...still up at 03.20 in the morning!!!

Hmm, so that's what the superhero character on those radio commercials
looks like...

Where's the horse he always rides in on?

Eric...I'm not familiar with the radio adverts:-( So I miss out on the Gag...I -am- aware that "Trojans" in Amrerica are contriceptives...but in this case it's more a "classical" ref;-)

LOL.

Nice drawing, by the way. Very Neal Adams.

I should tell you, however, that the Trojan condoms have radio ads featuring
a superhero character called Trojan Man.

Thanks for the Heads-up Eric. I'll be sure -not- to refer to him as "Trojan man!" and simply as "Trojan", man! -LOL....

Neal Adams huh!? Heddy praise, thanks. I've inked this piece. I'll post later.

OT: Are any of you bros major... I mean MAJOR Levitz/Giffen era Legion fans?  Please let me know.

*********

I consider myself to be about as major a fan as I can be, especially considering I quit buying anything with "Legion" in the title after that whole continuity imploded in Zero Hour.  I have glanced over the couple of reboots and it's just not the same.  Whatcha need to know, Marc?

So, as I was saying...first inks utilising a brush in quite sometime. Started to get my "eye" in right at the end. Need to make sure I don't leave it so long the next time;-)

Enjoy.

-Darren
