@Ryan Maxwell, if you're looking for inspiration for your giant Hoth Lego scene, I took a couple of photos at Lego Land California that you'll enjoy.  They've done amazing scenes from each of the Star Wars movies, so you can check out photos of the rest in my Picasa Photo Gallery.

During the weeks it took me to build the Lego X-Men DangerRoom using Lego's Digital Designer software, I started buying custom Lego X-MenMini Figures on eBay.  I initially boughtfigures to match the characters in the Fastner & Larson print that I wasusing as the basis for my design, but I ended up going a bit overboard with allthe X-Men and lots of other characters when I discovered all the great customsthat were available.

Wow!  I love Phoenix and Vision!  Next year, you'll be able to get the official figs as well.

Hopefully, by next week I'll be able to have the first Hoth section photographed.  I'm waiting on a couple of orders from Bricklink to come in.  I've torn it down and rebuilt it a few times now, and it's probably not the last version I do :^)

Some quick pics of section one of Echo Base.  I plan on investing in the new Millennium Falcon eventually, and the size of that sucker will dictate how the rest falls into place.

This is a 48x48 stud baseplate with an X-Wing's hanger, troops moving through, Leia addressing the Rebel pilots, all topped off by the Med Bay and Luke in the Bacta tank.  I'm borrowing heavily from a guy named 'brickplumber' who built a MASSIVE Echo Base.

The hallway above the hanger, with a door into Med Bay.  I'll correct the seams down the road, I have support pieces getting in the way for now.

The flip side, a view of Medical.

Fantastic Echo Base!  Love the detail.  That's turning out to be much cooler than the one they build at Star Wars Mini Land in California.
