There must be a 12-step program for these figurines.

You all know by now that I like to share information:
Galactus is out in the UK now.
Stunning if you ask me. Thanks to Zombula for the image, more are available if they are needed.
Also, there was a leaflet in issue 5 of the DC collection saying that it had been cancelled.......PANIC ensued...... Much e-mail activity between me and Eaglemoss finally got to the bottom of the story: DC series trials have been halted and Eaglemoss are gearing up to start UK national release in the very near future, dates as yet are to be finalized. :-)

Ooooooooh! I like that Galactus figurine! I have always planned to buy it, but it's nice to see it up close. Now the long wait for the US release begins...

I finally relented a while back, and went ahead and ordered the Galactus.
Hey! It's Galactus! Ultimately, how could I not?
Seeing this picture, tho, I can also see that I will have to set him off to one
side, away from the other figures. He is WAY off scale.

Hi all, love the forum... some really great ideas for repaints/customs (and JB's advice on corrections to figurine colour schemes). Was a huge fan growing up mr Byrne - thanks!
I was an avid Marvel reader in the 70s & 80s and then pretty much stopped... until... while on vacation I wandered into a comic store and saw the Thing and some other figurines. I told my wife "I'll just buy this one..."
um yeah... hundreds of dollars later I now make my weekly pilgrimage to my LCS (and enjoyed the 'hunt' of looking for back-issues figurines in Maryland shops). My wife has accepted my choice of mid-life crisis as a cheap alternative to an expensive red sports car ^^
So... my living room coffee table has Who's Who, Secret Origins, OHotMU (v1, v2 deluxe and the year 2004+ stuff) and other back-issues that I've used as memory-joggers for voting in the polls on the superherofigurineforum site. (Steve Reaper's site posted a link that introduced me to this forum)
Started with one little orange figurine... now I'm buying Eagle One Media DVDs of all of the great series (40 years of the Avengers, FF/Silver Surfer & X-Men so far... got the rest on my Amazon wish list) and graphic novels like Annihilation, House of M (just to catch up on what has happened in the past 20 yrs)... Damn you Eaglemoss! (oh and when are the DC figurines coming out in the US?) :D

Hey, I placed an internet order for the DC collection ages ago and have heard nothing since. I didn't realise that they had begun to release the things.
Time to get on to Eaglemoss methinks.

Lord, how much lead would it take to make an on-scale Galactus?!?

Welcome on board, Mark Potter ! It seems we have the same kind of hobby right now : trying to catch up with the Marvel Universe (for me, at least, I took "Marvel Vacation" during the past 5 years).
Damn Eaglemoss, of course, but bless them for making the figurine in such a small format, allowing us to COLLECT 'HEM ALL, without a divorce...hum, I haven't told my wife about Galactus so far ...

I'm in the same position as James - I subscribed to the DC collection as soon as it became available and haven't received anything yet.
Steve - are they just preview issues that have shipped or have other subscribers received anything yet?

Crap...Crap....Crap!!!
I was just fine living in my own little world, watching you guys with your addictions. BUT NO...you had to drag me in with the Galactus figurine! no it's not good enough for me to have Galactus, Silver Surfer is a must have now and you can't have SS and not have the Fantastic Four......I'll be over here talking to myself.
