After watching this thread for awhile I got the itch to pick some of these up myself, I'm glad my LCS still had Galactus.

Huh! I thought I was done with collecting these, but at the moment I'm reading the Walter Simonson Hardcover Omnibus of all his issues,(And yes it's flipping glorious-worth every penny!) and so that Skurge and Hela are looking mighty tempting..
I had mostly collected the main teams and 'big' heroes of the Marvel Universe, but I have a soft spot for Asgardians and their related foes.
To the extent that when just for fun, I set up the Avengers in my cabinet to have a little stand off with my Justice League/JSA members, I had the Enchantress standing alongside Thor. Maybe he charmed her onto his side for once..;)

Hmm, whilst I'm here. I'd just like to say thanks for everybody that posted earlier in this thread. I don't collect a lot of comic memorabilia/figures but it was the members and JB on this forum, that got me interested in buying more of these figurines a few years back. (Long before I had actually registered and was able to post anything..)
I must admit that I was even surprised to see that a legendary writer/artist as JB could have the same love of such things, as fans do. As I think I'd gotten so cynical over the years about some of the folks working for the comic companies who don't seem to have much love of the characters they're given the luxury of working on. So it was a nice change, seeing that here.
It's a bit late, what with them cancelling lines and what not, but in honour of that, I'll maybe start sharing some pics of the figurines that I did end up collecting. I've not got as much as some folks around here, but I guess I was always REALLY fussy about the ones that I bought. e.g For instance I really wanted a beast figurine, but there was no way on earth that I would have bought it with the current look that they gave him. Similarly, I was never too fond of the bright yellow and blue on Wolverine. To me it didn't seem like something he would wear, so I had my little brother take a shot at repainting him in the 80es colours he was wearing when I first started reading the X-men comics. As you might be able to see from this shot of the X-Men that I did end up getting:-

Love the Fin Fang Foom, I just never understood the shorts that he wore. Comics Code at the time I guess.

Gamora, Werewolf-By-Night and Giant Man have arrived. All really nice sculpts, except I thought Giant Man should have been taller.
