The Siryn figure makes me want to create a character who looks sort of like that, just to do a conversion. Nice sculpt of an otherwise worthless character. And, yeah -- Minoru? Is that Jubilee having a bad hair day? Very much liking the NorthStar and Aurora, tho I think the boots may be wrong.

I think the boots might be right, but the gloves may be wrong. I remember a "crown" on the outside forearm of their gloves and looked it up. I think this picture shows it fairly well.

Actually (!), that picture is not very good reference, due to the angle. It obscures the very point (no pun intended) I was thinking of -- which is that the starburst on Northstar's right boot is on the side of his leg, point up toward the burst on his hip, and the opposite on Aurora. As painted on the figures, the starbursts on the boots are all in front.

Nico Minoru. I'm sorry, but who? *** She's a member of the Runaways. Hardly classic.

Spiral is a really cool visual. I think I would prefer this piece if it wasn't so symmetric. I'd have her arms all doing different directions and doing their own thing.

I feel I must ask. . . Why is a six armed character called "Spiral"? Seem like that would be a better name for, say, a female version of the Human Top!

I think Spiral used her multiple arms to spin around, creating some sort of magical field. Anyhow, I like the sculpt. Is the Siryn figure wearing Madrox' shirt? I don't remember her looking like that. I thought she wore an outfit similar to Banshee.

I confess I've never really understood this Spiral character. And I've tried hard to.

I like Spiral but yeah her name made no sense, and all I remember her doing to use her "magic" was dance.

Been awhile since I've posted in this thread. Buying a house and waiting between gigs kinda puts a crimp in your figurine buying habit. Today, however, I stopped into my LCS to pick up JBNM 37 and decided to check out what figurines he had. Pretty extensive, some dating all the way back to the beginning. Since I stopped around 107 or so, there were quite a few that I wanted to pick up. Limited myself to three: Kingpin, Cloak and Dagger, and Ka-Zar and Zabu. All three look pretty sweet, are favorites of mine, and were in limited supply at the store. Having dipped my toe back into the waters, I may find myself picking up Blob, Typhoid Mary and a couple others that caught my eye. Everytime you think you're out, they drag you back in!
