I have a hard rule against pre-ordering. Seems like tempting Fate.

Remember the old saying: if you want to make the gods laugh, make a plan.

Thanks, JB!

Congrats, Paul!

(I'm still unable to post anywhere except the main page when using mobile devices, but tried my MacBook today, and... SUCCESS!)

Adding to my frustration over those who insist this is a failed or rejected Marvel project, I now have to contend with those who are convinced it started at Marvel--it didn't--and that it's being published by Marvel--it isn't.

The latter is especially annoying, since it allows Byrne Bashers to whip out one of their favorite terms for me, "hypocrite". Seems I swore I would "never" work from Marvel again. (Don't remember that.)

I’m sorry about the frustration and was disappointed, though not surprised,
to see a few who should know better, feeding the nonsense campaign.

That said, I am thrilled that more people will experience it and that the
project has continued to fuel your artistic drive.

I see first-hand what JB has talked about over the years - right after the project was announced, it didn't take long for misinformation to start spreading around. The funny thing is anyone can just as easily refer to this site and get the accurate info.

This site has a (false) reputation for being “hard to navigate”—which is basically malignant fanboys wanting to cast themselves a victims of Big Bad Byrne. Plus, they dare not risk exposing themselves to something that might actually be TRUE!

Well, getting to the Thursday announcement was not straightforward, I have to confess.

Adding insult to insult, I see references to this having collapsed at Marvel because I am “difficult to work with.”

Honestly, I sometimes think my detractors must have that set up as a master key. One stroke and the phrase drops neatly into whatever they’re writing. But only the phrase. Not so much as a whisper of evidence.

If anyone saw the pictures of the
announcement, it was Chris with C.B. and
Brevoort promoting the book. Last I checked
the latter two are key players at the top of
Marvel. Looks like the top brass approve to
me. The internet feels the need to crap on
anything positive.

Thanks to everyone involved for making this happen, especially JB. Well deserved, sir!
Also, congrats to Paul, I admit feeling a bit jealous, but it's the good kind of jealousy!

And just when I thought my buying / collecting was coming to a end , this announcement gets released . Just wow and JB stories have been with me close to 50 years .
Here is hoping that the last story concludes and that Wolverine /Sabertooth gets told . :)
