I remember seeing the FF page a while back. Is it finished?
Post please.

Hi Anthony, "No" it's not. After having done as much as you see here* I had been a little uncomfortable with the first panel of page 23. I found it a little static. Anyway I reread the plot and realised that John had written the scene with Sue on the ground! So my pages were drawn incorrectly. I'm know reworking the pages, working forward from page 21...which I'm pretty pleased with BTW. I'll post a snip when done. There is one other panel on my -first- version which I have not posted so I'll see about scanning what I had of that to share too.

I can't believe that I sat and read that plot and by the time I thumbnailed my page layouts I had morphed the story in my head to suit me!! That was an eye opener for me. So I'm pleased that I appear to have noticed this myself without being told that I fekked-up! I'd hate to have been the lame-oh that wandered away from the Johns plot.

Hey Darren!

I don't know if you'd classify our time working together as a "bad experience" or not, but I don't suppose you'd want to give it another go? Let's do an Image pitch or somethin'!

"Bad experience" !?! Not at all Steve. No it perfectly underlined exactly "Why" I stopped trying to get into comics. Because I'm totally unreliable, allthough in todays market that appears to be an asset for some;-)

This is something I do for me. I do it to become batter at it and I seem to fail spectacularly when it comes to doing something where that emphisis changes.

So as magnanimous as your offer is (I left Steve waiting an unforgivable amount of time for pages I was inking) I think I'll spare you the same experience you went through my friend.

Many regards,

This is a recent sketch that was rejected by my client...he liked the design but felt it didn't suit the character (I agreed)...

Thanks Chris...if you haven't read Johns plot notes, you should. I love how he handles Sue [Not to take -that- out of context;-)] Showing the -effect- of her invisible powers rather than draw in the dotted lines. All in John draws the definitive Invisible Woman/Girl for me.
