It won’t. Despite all the bluster, they really don’t care.

They really don't. Dennis Hastert was House Speaker and a child rapist, and to my knowledge, in the ten years since he was sent to prison, if there was a thorough official or journalistic investigation into what his colleagues knew and when they knew it, or if and how they sheltered him, it has not been released to the public. It's ridiculous how much incuriosity the media and government can summon when aristocracy is on the line. Every news story that invokes "The Hastert Rule" should contain an explanation about the man it's named after.

I'm so embarrassed every time I hear/read something related to this government... especially the clown elected to run it. Such nonsense.
Looking for the light at the end of this tunnel.

I'm imagining the Trump Justice Department desperately editing Epstein material for public release.

David, given the attention span and critical thinkibg skills of the average Trump supporter, I can see them giving this a cursory glance and believing every word.

So, Sydney Sweeney. Has the Left gone completely mad? Saying some exceptional individual (sports, music, art, appearance) has “good genes” goes back as far as the mapping of DNA. To suggest that a play on words (genes/jeans) betokens White supremacy is Woke gone right off the deep end. Too bad she’s a MAGA minibrain, tho.

The other day I was watching a documentary on Billy Joel that includes some concert footage from some 20 years ago or so and it was an absolute delight to note that people in the audience were actually watching the show rather than holding up smartphones to either record the artist or, just as much, themselves in the audience.
This dog-damned hand-held super-computer has allowed the worst impulses to be unleashed to a global audience in microseconds, and thus somehow Sidney Sweeney became, as NPR reported, a spokesperson for white supremacist eugenics. If only this genie could be re-bottled!

I find the Sweeney thing interesting. It’s obviously a play on words of gene/jean, but here’s the thing.
The left, the evolutionists, are going nuts, and the right, the ones more prone to creation, are supporting it. I’d have thought THAT would have been the issue. But she’s MAGA, so compromise it is.

The Sweeney AE campaign is just a shiny object for people who are too easily distracted from keeping their eyes on the ball. So predictably disappointing that it's become a thing.

Well, we were making real progress on mRNA vaccines for HIV and Cancer, but I guess RFK wants us to drink raw milk and do interpretive dance or something instead.
Also the orange taco fella wants to destroy a $1/4 billion environmental observation satellite because if we can't detect carbon in the atmosphere with a globe-observing device, there surely isn't any. Sound familiar?
Anybody else angry all the time? I hate it.

Yes and I hate it as well. It’s for that very reason that I’ve tried to divest myself from reading absolutely everything this terrible, awful, despicable, rotten admin and its enablers are doing every single minute of every single day. That’s a rabbit hole I’ve had to pull myself out of lest I spiral into a pit of anger and despair.
