Interesting to find, when looking at Mr. Powers art, the same image was used for more than one book...

••

Yes, tho it so perfectly fits CITY I assume that was the first usage.

It's an original I would love to add to my collection!

BLUE HIGHWAYS by William Least Heat-Moon.  A friend has been steadily recommending this book to me for years because of my love of the open road.  I've long wanted to take a trip around the U.S. like the author took, staying off the interstates and visiting the small towns along the state and U.S. highways.  It's been a pretty good read full of stories about the many locals he met along his 13,000 mile, three month journey.  Released in 1982, the events of the book took place in 1978 so the author had none of the modern day electronic travel conveniences we rely on today.  Don't know that I would go that far.

Well, I don't see "Regular"...not in Safari, Firefox, Chrome...

And the Font Color (red underlined A) only gives a color choice that doesn't quite look invisible, let alone do the cool "click to highlight" action.

I know there is simple code to do it, but I can never remember what it is. Stupid brain...

Andrew, you just used the wrong brackets.  Use [ ] rather than < >

LONESOME DOVE by Larry McMurtry.  Best book I've read in a long time.

I just started Storm Front by Jim Butcher, recommended to me (several different times!) by some of the fine people here on the JBF.

Halfway through Page 2 I knew I'd love it. And so far, I do!

Just finished LITTLE GREEN by Walter Mosley.  It was great to finally have a new Easy Rawlins novel.

Currently reading A DRINK BEFORE THE WAR by Dennis Lehane.  I've heard good things about Lehane and so far I'm not disappointed.

Up next is COTTON COMES TO HARLEM by Chester Himes.  I had never even heard of this one until two characters in LITTLE GREEN discuss the book.  Really looking forward to reading it.

Just finished Star Trek: Resistance. Great TNG book. Now halfway through Star Trek: Death in Winter. I'm rediscovering TNG after about 15 years away from both books and episodic television. Great fun!

I finished Fate of the States (Meredith Whitney) and I'm almost done with Game On (Tom Farrey; ESPN). I had to take a break from David Stockman's The Great Deformation. I'm about 60% through that book, but I had to take a break from it, as the book gets very  - depressing - the more you read it.

At ComicCONN 2013, I bought two books from Crazy 8 Press (www.crazy8press.com): (1) Paul Kupperberg's The Same Old Story and (2) Michael Jan Friedman's Aztlan (The Maxtla Colhua Mysteries). I'll probably get to those two books sometime in the Fall.
