Starting reading this last week. I've gotten into a lot superhero prose novels.
Leo Craft is the best at what he does; he assassinates superheroes, but only the ones who deserve it. Life is good, simple, until an ultra-secretive government agency hires Leo to execute two impossible tasks: eliminate the world's foremost superhero, Patriotman, and hunt down a fellow assassin whose target is the President of the United States.
When everyone wears a mask, trust is hard to come by - and even the elusive truth can be caught in a web of lies.

"..he assassinates superheroes, but only the ones who deserve it…"•• A hero, by definition, does not "deserve" to be assassinated. ++++ "…Patriotman…" •• A familiar civilian misconception: one can create superhero names by taking any noun and attaching "man" to it. A character such as this would more logically be called simply "The Patriot".

"Go Down Together" - a recent book about Bonnie and Clyde. Really great, cleans up a lot of inconsistencies in other books and the writer got access to a couple never before used diaries from family members to fill out some details. Probably the most straight-forward and thorough book on the couple.

REMEMBERING REVELL MODEL KITS by Thomas GrahamA comprehensive history of something that was an important part of my youth. Ah, those knights in armor! The Ed Roth showcars! Mercury! Gemini! That HUGE Apollo + Saturn V booster. Even the cast of BONANZA! A reminder that they were responsible for one of the Best Kits Ever, their 1:8 scale Jaguar X-KE, and one of the most disappointing, their same scale Corvette Stingray. The first lush and luxurious with detail and working parts, the other looking as if a rather poor 1:24 scale kit had somehow been enlarged to 1:8.

Revell was the best. If I'm not mistaken, I still see their kits for sale in our local Michaels art store.
