On the Move:  A Life  by Oliver Sacks.  Just before his recent death, the famous neuropsychologist (perhaps best known for his books, Awakenings (the basis for the DeNiro/Robin Williams movie, with Williams in the Sacks role) and The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, released this autobiography.  In it, he writes about his patients and intellectual interests, but also about growing up as a gay man in the Great Britain of the 30's and 40's, his love of motor cycles, pumping iron on muscle beach, his addiction to amphetamines, famous friends and colleagues such as W.H. Auden and James Crick, and interesting family members, including cousin Abba Eban (a former Israeli UN ambassador once well known in the US) and cousin Al Capp (the L'il Abner cartoonist, who, Sacks says, died a "broken man").

And I played him in High School!

Well, Henry Drummond, anyway, the Darrow avatar in INHERIT THE WIND.

Alright, Byrne! You're continued foray into interesting reads is seriously affecting my wallet!

Well, in this case, not so much as I was able to purchase it through Kindle for .99 cents... but still!!!

I watched the first 2 episodes of THE MAN IN THE HIGH
CASTLE on Amazon Prime and decided that I needed to read
the book. Blazed through it over the weekend and am
shocked, shocked, I say, to see that Hollywood
was not faithful to the source material!

The Glory Road by Robert A. Heinlein (The Virginia Edition). Perhaps the fifth or sixth time I have read it, remains entertaining and fun.

Hey Joe,

How about a follow-up on the Demon with a Glass Hand by Harlan Ellison & Marshall Rogers? Two of my favourites. Was it written as a graphic story? I don't have the title in my book database. And Marshall's work is always interesting.
