Re-reading JRR Tolkein's Lord Of The Rings trilogy now. I've had these hardback volumes that my big sister brought for my birthday years ago, and I felt that I needed something to inspire me again. The story never goes out of style with me.

Just starting THE LAST GOOD KISS by the late James Crumley, the first book in his C.W. Sughrue mystery series.

My missus is reading ENGAGING THE ENEMY by Elizabeth Moon as part of a binge. This is her third Moon book in as many days.

Just finished THE SECRET SPEECH, the second book in a trilogy of historical novels set in 1950's Russia.  A compelling book written by Tom Rob Smith.  Discovered the first one quite by accident at Costco a number of years ago and finally got around to reading the second.  I enjoyed it so much, I found the third book AGENT 6 on the cheap at Amazon.  Highly recommended if your bent are thrillers that exist to do more than just thrill.

THESE ARE THE VOYAGES

STAR TREK season 2, episode and behind the scenes breakdowns. Not far enough in to know if I will find the problems that peppered the first volume in this projected trilogy.

Reading "They call me Baba Booey" by Gary Dell'abate. Very sad how he grew up with a mentally ill mother. Pop and rock Music was an escape for him in the same way that comics were for a lot of us.

Just finished ROSES ARE DEAD by Loren Estleman, the second book in his Peter Macklin series.

Next up is CHUMP CHANGE by G.M. Ford, the latest in his ongoing Leo Waterman mystery series set in and around Seattle. Since I am moving to Washington state in the next two weeks, I figured I need to brush up on one of its favorite fictional PIs.

Re-read Holy Blood , Holy Grail by Baigent.

Also read the Trio trade, left me wanting for more, as they say.
If given more print I think Golgotha  could have been one of those iconic villains we all love to hate.

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

I know it's a classic, but somehow I never got around to reading it until now. Enjoying it so far, and almost at the end.
