I should probably mention that the page I posted previously is one I had almost finished yesterday.

Wolverine's mask isn't quite right in the first panel. Not really crazy about Cyclops' visor in the last panel, either. Time to tinker!

This is giving me new appreciation for the Savage Land! Super cool sequence.

Fantastic!!  Two pages!!

Speaking of Wolverine’s head gear, I think you are the only artists who makes it look both realistic and cool.  Same for this vintage of Cyclops’ visor.

It’s great to see the team together!!!

Confession: I don't like this version of Cyclops' visor. I find it clunky and, from some angles, hard to draw. I suspect Dave changed it mostly because he had trouble with the original version. Many artists did. Before I left the book, I'd already been given permission by Marvel to slim Dave's version down to something more closely resembling Kirby's.

(Terry Austin, all those years ago, told me he'd done a convention sketch putting Scott in his original visor, assuring the customer that this change was soon coming to the book. Oops!)

Man, those backgrounds are breathtaking.JB, you've done a masterful job of depicting the grandeur of the Savage Land. And Wolverine has never looked better.

Sorry to hear you don’t like this version of Cyclops’ visor JB. Your interpretation of it, especially @ the end of your run, was my favourite visor he wore
