Dale what a cool thing to have for your son, it looks just like the picture, the train is really well done too.

Thanks Jodi! I'm at the stage where I'm just seeing all the work that needs to be done. Hope to get more done on the lettering tonight, then concentrate mainly on the faces tomorrow.

I love coming to this thread and seeing all the great art you guys create. As I posted in another thread, I recently bought an iPad and have been using Sketchbook Pro to create art since both my hands have been broken. I would like to post some, but unfortunately seem to be somewhat ignorant on how to export and download it here from the app. Could somebody walk me thru it?

Lots of time-consuming refining going on now, so the progress may be harder to see.

Thanks to my iPhone and weird lighting the colors are all wonky in this photo, much more blue in the photo than in life, but as you see it's all slowly tightening up. Tweaking everything today to get it all up to snuff. Been tackling the letters this morning, about to turn my attention to the Diner & running figures, faces and then the background itself. Fun, fun, fun.

In november the cards should be featured on the Hallmark contest page.
Finishing up the Blob today. Now is where the changes may be harder to notice, but I spent this morning refining the diner & the people running from it and the girl's face. I've got just a bit more to do to the diner and the guy's in the car and I think I'll be through. Would've finished yesterday, but I got a bit distracted :)
With any luck I'll begin working on my next project tonight or tomorrow morning. The next painting is going to be an oil and what makes it different is it'll be the first time I've ever painted an action scene in oil. In the past I've just done portraits. Should be FUN!
