Trying out some new brushes and canvas. Not happy with either, but in the end I was pleased with how this oil came out.

Just finished up the Red Sonja "in the snow" page. Happy as a clam with the result, to be honest - one of those occasions when you look at it and think "Yep, it's worth the time". I think I'm slowly learning how to use spot blacks a little better - but that could be a little overconfident. Hope y'all like her!

Trevor, nice Valkyrie. She's been one of my favourite female characters since that first Avengers appearance. Bill Wiist, wish I could paint like that. Great portrait, I'm very envious. Mikael, nice action shots. Love your style. Joe mate, if that's a self portrait you need to eat some pasta :-). Carmen, GREAT Sauron on the last page! Andrew Hess, Modesty Blaise is the coolest. She still has a place on the daily 'toon page in our local paper. Here's my little take on her - her hairstyle is the best to draw...

Beautiful Red Sonja Mal...great job on the inks and grey tones...was looking forward to seeing the final product and it was well worth the wait. Very nice art from everybody else also. NIce to see some new faces here. There was a question on the previous page about JPB's whereabouts. I believe he was banned from the board for comments made in another thread.

Mikael - Thanks for the comment! Not sure how to submit to the X9/MBlaise site, but am interested. Unfortunately, the site is in Swedish! Help?
