Shhh, Al. It is a secret. Now you are going to scare him, I mean her, away. I was waiting for one of the classic lines to pop up.

Thanks for the kind words :)
Jodi - Yes, he's mine, too. The UK has a bit of a tradition of anthology comics being edited by a fictional character (at one point we even had Dave - Watchman - Gibbons dressed up as 'Big E') so I've got a small cat in a superhero outfit.
Ever since I was a kid, growing up with Marvel in the '70s, I've wished I could draw the heroes like Romita, Kirby, Adams, Buscema and, of course, JB but it never was to be (I remember being 13 and totally obsessed with Steranko's SHIELD. It was soooo frustrating when my own stuff just fell so short all the time). Eventually I sort of found my niche with daft cartoony stuff so I try to be the best I can be at that.
If anyone's got a dull five minutes to spare you can see the whole comic online here. It's not high art and it certainly ain't great literature but we all enjoyed doing it and even my 6 year old son got in on the game!

I just took a gander at that webcomic of yours, Will. That was pretty good stuff. I like the interface on that site, too. Very easy to navigate, and it doesn't blow up so large that you'd have to scroll all over the place in order to see a panel.

Dale, great owl, mate. Ben, pretty cool Gary Coleman as well. Barbara, nifty little Cap there - you have any finished ones to show, 'cause the sketch is pretty cool. Wil, LOVE the pages! Must scoot over to your site for a look. The dog in the middle of the second page just grabs me every time I look at it. Very nice work, and now I'm jealous as hell again... Here's a layout cover page from a story I've been slowly working on for ages - one of those that bubbles to the surface late at night and nags away at your hindbrain. The year is 2310. The confused looking gentleman at back is our hero Harry Carter, a long-haul sewerage truck pilot in the mining colonies along the outer rim of our part of the Milky Way who relishes his boring, routine life. His companion is Rosa-Maria Tolstoy, the on-the-run wife of the biggest mob boss in the quadrant - who just happens to be CEO of the company Harry works for - and current undeclared passenger on Harry's freighter for enough money to settle his gambling debt with the local loanshark. Hilarity ensues...
This is them trying to get off the station at Habanero Prime, "the hottest planet in the quadrant!!" while avoiding Customs and Excise... Cheers! Mal

Lots of terrific work, guys! Here's an awkwardly posed Batman I sketched out yesterday and decided to color in photoshop...

Guardian is a character that I like to sketch whenever I have the urge to actually doodle. Today I grabbed a Bic pen for no particular reason and this came out okay-ish and then decided to throw some colour on it to post it there.

Lars you did this with a Bic, dang that is impressive. I would NEVER sketch with a pen. Heck I even hate writing a letter in pen, because I can't erase.
Great job!!!
