Seriously all the artwork on here is AMAZING!!!!!!!

Outside of JB's commission threads this thread is the thread I can't wait to see each day.  Keep up the great work guys.

ugh...this really really sucks compared to some stuff I used to do. I feel wicked rusty. But at least it's giving me a feel for working within the panels of a live area.

I've recently picked up How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way and Tom Nguyen's Incredible Comics (Tom's Book is really good!). I drew this sketch last month before I picked up the books. But I have to admit that I was so frustrated with how poorly it turned out that I didn't pick up the sketch pad yet.

Oh well, time to suck it up buttercup! I'm going through these books and will make another attempt very soon!

Total sketch time 2 hours,

ok, feel a bit better with this attempt. But still not really satisfied with it. It's starting to feel more natural though...

I was trying to capture Logan being annoyed with the alien attempting to pierce his adamantium laced skull with it's retractible jaws. The alien was in for a surprise when it realized it couldn't crush his skull. And, or course, Wolverine responds accordingly, while pulling the cigar from his mouth to say under his breath, "I hate bugs..."

Edit- I don't like how Wolverine's head looks in this sketch. but it's a start in the right direction.
