Sergio,
Glad to be of some help.
Klaus Janson also has a book in Penciling which includes some side by side comparisons between pencilled and inked pages.
There is also a book by Gary Martin, that is pretty good. There are two volumes and one combined edition. What's good about those is that the first part of the book goes through the basics, and it's not really much to look at, but that's the intention. Then the second part is handed over to a good variety of pro Inkers as they tackle various pages by Steve Rude. They then give a breakdown of why they did what they did. This also has Bristol Board inserts with blueline reproductions of some of the pages used so that they can be used for practise.
And, there is a fairly new book by Freddie E Williams II that is to do with Digitally drawing Comics. It's not bad, not a big fan of his style, but it a good look into the process of how to get things done.
I think that Mucha is the first artist that I liked, and maybe the one that ignited that spark. For as long as I can remember we've had a mirror with a black and white drawing of his which i used to stare at for ages. When I was younger I used to try and draw like him, although it wasn't until much later that I knew who he was, or saw any other art by him. Annoyingly enough, I can't find that picture in any book of his I own.

My hand started hurting after about an hour of drawing. I went to the doctor and he suggested I use grips on my pencils and pens, and I should hold the pencil correctly. Also, I should take breaks every half hour. _________________________ I think I hold it correctly. I'm not sure, now I'm starting to have doubts... John: sorry to hear about the tendonitis. I imagine it must be painful. Right now my hand hurts every now and then and I still can't grab things but I'm getting better. By the way, lots of amazing stuff here. It seems like everyone is improving constantly.

I can say I know how you're feeling. Now I have to do everything with my left hand and that makes me look like a very clumsy guy. Brush my teet, holding a fork, button up, tying shoes, everything with the left hand! It is very annoying .

For the record, I have a hairy chest too but I've never had to brush my teet.

JPB, I've had the injection done twice.
Although the Doctor and the Specialist I saw weren't really sure what I had as I didn't have any other symptoms related to Tendonitis. My main problem was that at certain times I would pick up anything and my hand would cramp as though I'd been holding it for hours. Also the last two fingers on my left hand would get pins and needles at random times whether I was holding anything or not.
About a year after the first time, my hand started playing up again. Went back again and had the same injection. At first it didn't do anything, (the other worked after a couple of hours) but after a few weeks it got better and it's been almost a year and it's pretty much okay.

Thanks again, Chris. I will look for those books, study and try to do my best. Wait for the next! Ah! I bought a book about Mucha work at the Museum of Mucha at Praga, wich is by long, the most complete Mucha guide I´ve ever seen. If you describe me the picture you´re talking about, I´ll search it at the guide. Maybe we have some luck.

JPB, I've been thinking the same thing about myself. The hand is okay, it's the rest of me that's now become the problem. I'm thinking of just asking for injections in random body parts every couple of weeks. (Some would obviously need to be avoided)
Sergio, I can go one better than a description.
It's called Autumn, and although I've seen others similar and called the same, I've not seen the exact same one. Would be interesting to see if there were others in the series. Would be cool if you could find it.
