Yeah, that was intentional. This scene takes place prior to the Dark Pheonix saga but not by much, so I wanted to show her enjoying using her power, pehaps a little -too- much.

hi arc. i think you do women great actually. the lipstick piece was fantastic. just curious how long have you been drawing? i am working on a wonder woman and getting closer to having to work on her face. not excited about that :P i only have a few months of seriously drawing

GOOD NEWS MY FELLOW SKETCHBOOKERS!!!! Tomorrow I turn in my 2 weeks notice to the paper where I've been working for the past dozen years. I'm FINALLY GONE. Going to a small company that specializes in children's DVDs & CDs. I'll be doing everything from storyboarding, to packaging , to video editing. Lots of room for creativity and growth. Can't tell you how excited I am to finally be going into a job with some real growth potential. YEAH!!!
