Marri looks kind of sad.  I guess the revelation that you're an alien killing machine programmed for adapting to a planet your species selects for colonization has that effect on you.  Good one, Darren.

A lot of good stuff here.  I really ought to get around to dropping a few more sketches in myself...

Marrina always struck me as a tragic character. Very Nature or nurture!

Darren, thanks for posting your day's work! Very inspirational. I'll be studying it. I've had animation friends tell me the way to get over your love for drawing is to become an animator, but I still think I'd love to get into that business full-time. The few storyboards I've done, I've enjoyed doing. In fact, I should be doing a commercial sometime in the next month for a place in Nashville. I spent the last couple of months designing the character for the piece, so I'm anxious to get on with the storyboards!

Charlie, great job on the Peanuts drawing.  I find that, despite the simplicity of Schulz' drawing style, there is a very high level of difficulty in succeeding to replicate his style.  There is a certain roundness to the characters that I have never been able to achieve.  I supposed that, after drawing the characters for what, 50 years, you probably get the hang of it, as Schulz did.

Nice art Charlie.

Bill, with storyboards, mostly*, every gig has a diferent requirement from the boards. So I find that it's wise to sit with the Director and get a 'wish' list from him that he'd love the boards to highlight.

* I've found that Directors have their own preferences in how they want storyboards to look. So when reuniting with a Director from a prvious production, you tend to find they ant similar boards from the last time you worked together.
