Warren, love the sketches. The Litterbug looks like Alan Moore on a bad day. More please!

Joe, digging the bashful Ben sketches. And I agree, starting the rocks is a bitch - but knowing when to stop is worse.

Darren, I'm more impressed by your work every time I look at it again. Your sketches are great, but the finished colour pieces are just wonderful, Again, more please!

JPB, you must have a drawing arm wrist like bridge cables, and a stack of sketches ten feet high. Loving your output as always.

Arc, don't sweat it. Your stuff is always improving - just keep punching them out. Just remember, not every piece has to be a masterpiece. From one amateur to another, one day everything you've learned about anatomy, composition, line weight and all that will just click - and you'll sit back and go wow. As the boss has said on the forums repeatedly, everyone's got a thousand bad pictures in them - it's when you hit the thousand-and-first that the fun really starts.

You guys are all a huge source of inspiration and I'm always grateful for the positive feedback. Please excuse me if I've missed anyone, ok?

Cheers,

Mal

Anyhoo, started playing with another couple of famous monster illos tonight. This one (work in progress ATM) I'm going to call "Lake Party Tonight!", and I'd appreciate any feedback you talented folks care to give.

Cheers, Mal

Some real nice pieces on the last page John, I like the Submariner the most from that batch.

Mal, I really like it, especially the nice touch of her shoe floating/falling.
