Cool stuff everyone! Thanks for comments JPB and Arc! Nice to see your sketches in ink Arc. I actually do most of my sketching in ink. I like the immediacy of it.

I still feel much more comfortable with the pencil. Inking is complicated, and I'm learning how to do it by myself (thus the not so good results). Here I have something else:

And Darren, I love those Christmas pieces. They would look lovely as cards.

A weekly Jam. Have fun and join in. No sketch too small, to masterpice too great;) All equally welcome.

These are just for fun so if you find yourself with five minutes, doodle something and submit. If you have a couple of days, then get dug in, whatever;)

I hate drawing ben because it never looks like JB's Ben.

EDITED FOR ORIGINAL SIZE.

Bad enough already, but to see it ENLARGED just made me sick.

Joe , I know what you mean.

I don't even try ... I just stick to regular people when I'm drawing.

Hey Joe, I -totally- understand your sentiment. I L.O.V.E. John's version of the Thing, it's the definitive way, IMO.

Someimes the wieght of expectancy we (as artists, professional or other) place on ourselves can be counter productive. I really admire that you bit the bullet and went for it!

You've treated us all to a great Thing drawing, thanks.

If you haven't done so already, -PLEASE- post this to the "This Week" Jam over on the Third Rail forum, it would be very welcomed!

Link in my original post;)
