Thanks JT! Your coloring looks really good on that page. You did a great job with the glass shards and the reflections on each piece in the bottom panel.

Hands are really hard to draw - I use my own hands as reference and I use books, etc. Drawing Dynamic Hands by Burne Hogarth is a pretty good guide. I have page after page of hand sketches in my sketch books. I have been drawing hands for a long time and I still struggle with them. Don't be afraid to use whatever reference materials you need.

Hands and feet are definitely the two human parts I hate drawing the most.  I find using basic shapes (cylinders, circles, etc) very useful in getting the hands to look right, depending on the "angle" of the image (like John Buscema explains in "How to Draw the Marvel Comics Way".

As D. Braun points out, drawing from reference is a useful tool.

The best way to draw hands is to put a three way mirrow in front of yourself try it JT it will help you a lot!

Nice one Arc, you always come up with interesting...and slightly disturbing scenarios! Your mind works in bizarre and disturbing ways. Thats a compliment by the way!

Thank you Dave. And you didn't need to make things clear. It was the best compliment I've heard lately. And besides Slightly Disturbing Scenarios sounds like the perfect title for a graphic novel, don't you think?

And very good work from you. I really like the contrast between the white ship and the black suit.

Interesting JPB! Thanks!

I use my own hands for reference a lot, and given a photograph of a hand I could copy it no problem, what artist can't? but yeah, making them stylized and dynamic is certainly a chore.

That's most kind of you, sir.

And about the hands issue. Yes, hands are tricky. I have never been able to draw a hand without looking at my own hands... I always need a visual reference or else I get it wrong. And even so I still think some of my hands don't look convincing enough.
