Great to see where the magic gets released. JB is that the art board you've always used? If so, it must have put on a few miles of travel. From Canada, the midwest to the east coast. Very cool indeed.

That’s my third board, if we count the small wooden one my parents bought for me when I was about 15. I retired that one in 1977, when I moved back to Calgary. That was when I treated myself to my first big board—the one the drafting machine was attached to—and that’s the one that did the most traveling. It was in turn retired circa 1996, when I bought my current board, to which I transferred the machine. The “middle” one, on which I did all the X-MEN, FF and ALPHA FLIGHT issues (and the stuff around them) now resides in my basement.

I got a fancy large surface drafting table but found I just never used it as much as some cast-off old wooden bread board that was just right for almost all things (and totally portable). To be fair though the table was not the right height for me, it has these tv tray type legs that cross and when the top is tilted at an angle you probably had to be a tiny Japanese person or something. Anyone really small want to buy an almost new condition drafting table with giant t-square cheap? :^)
I did find other than a tv or stereo (and tea kettle), that having any books, letters and other stuff at hand would distract me, but I was mostly just inking/lettering for other people where there was a 'have to get this done and put in the hours' situation involved.

Completely agree. The linework is beautiful, I hope somehow a pencil version is published of these pages. Preferably actual size, but something like DC's unwrapped books would work.
