Elsewhen springs from a point where YOUR vision would've taken the story in a completely different direction. Is there any other point in the run (GS1 - 136) where you would want to change the way things played out?

Anything Shi’ar related—including the Starjammers—should never have been part of X-Men lore. That’s FF and/or Avengers territory.

Hey guys. It's been a while, especially regularly. I've never left but as my love for Marvel died (and hard) my love for comics overall diminished greatly and with it, my visits here.

Anyway, when word of this came out, I started coming by more often but could never seem to find anything on this topic beyond the sequential pages post. That changed today and I just read this entire thread n one sitting and I have to say I'm overcome.

I'm "praying" along with the rest of you but regardless of the outcome, I have to express an enormous thank you to you, JB, just for sharing it with us. Words fail me. There's nothing I could say that hasn't already been said. Best of luck in getting everything you want from this. The regular publication of this from Marvel would be beyond my wildest dreams come true and would always top my reading list. Thanks again.

Well put, Chris.  It doesn’t get said enough - a huge thank you to JB for posting the first pages to this, whatever it becomes!  It led me to revisit all of your X-Men work- the original run on UNCANNY X-MEN, WOLVERINE, and HIDDEN YEARS.  All fantastic work and here’s hoping to see more soon!

WOLVERINE was such fun! A treat to work with Archie Goodwin.

(Still miss him.)

Glad I got to meet him!

BTW - I just saw on the internet that Marvel is about to
make a big X-Men announcement. Fingers crossed :-)
