I finished the boxes to some converted Muggs I am doing for a friend. I thought I would get your impression of them. These are JPGs of the Photoshop files that will go to the printer. Disregard the "orange" color as that is just a guide for what I cut away. What do you think?

Guardian

Shaman

Northstar

The box for Aurora is still in the works since the cardboard guide needs to be altered to accommodate the shape of her hair.

Well, that didn't take as long as I thought it would. Here is the Aurora box art.

Last year some time I tried to customize a Mugg into a Guardian. It was a disaster because I was using crappy paints and it looked all streaky and globby.

I REALLY wanted it to work out but it REALLY didn't.

(I used a Chewbacca Mugg)

I'm pleased to report that my first Lego Design By Me project – the X-Men’s Danger Room– is now finished!  The package arrived from China about two weeks after it was ordered and my son and I didn’t wait long to dive in and start putting it together. That proved to be a bit challenging since the kit was apparently too complex to allow Lego to generate instructions, but we figured it out eventually.  Now all these custom Marvel Lego figures I've been amassing on eBay finally have a proper home!  I've uploaded a bunch of photos to my Picasa gallery if you want to check them out.
