Always fun stuff, Steven! Is that a Paddington Bear in back?

Jodi, advice from the master! Much appreciated! Your steadiness of hand and sheer creativity are always a joy to behold!

No, Brian.  I didn't do a bear.  Which one are you looking at?

Steven those are too cute!!!

After Brians post, I kept thinking maybe I was missing something because I could not find Paddington, but then I realized Black Mage behind Iron Man had on the same colors as Paddington, he wears a blue trench coat and a big yellow hat.

My son and I are customizing our favorite Spider-Man alternative costumes.  We bought a couple generic 4 inch Spider-Man figures at Walmart last night and some acryllic paint.

I am painting a black and white Future Foundation.  My son is painting a Scarlet Spider costume.  The acryllic is pretty flaky after it drys, so any attempt at articulating the joints ruins the paint job, so I'm guessing there's a better paint choice.  I have pictures on my phone I'll post later.

and Jon wants me to make him a Macho Man costume, which should be pretty fun to do.

Jon has taste. Would like to see the costume. I'm a Macho Man fan myself.

Craig you may want to lightly sand the figures before you paint them. But customizing figures aren't the best "play with" figures, the paint is never very durable. Also if you buy a generic brand of paint, it sometimes doesn't apply as well.  Also you can buy some spray "for plastic" primer at any store that carries a good supply of spray paint, I bought mine at Meijer's which is a thinking man's Walmart.  I just painted some cheap plastic iphone cases I bought at the Dollar Tree, I sand them and prime them with the plastic primer and they are really durable.

The little kid is a character called Ness, the fish thing is from Pokemon and the green one is from a computer game called Minecraft, it's a creeper, the DC one is a skateboarding company.

Ah, Ness... how I loved hitting characters off the screen with your baseball bat in Super Smash Bros. Melee...

Very cool, Mrs. Moisan. Very cool.

(Jodi, I just have to share this quick story:  On any given Saturday or Sunday, my two daughters--ages 7 & 4--sometimes catch me haunting the JBForum in the morning, and they almost always ask:  "Can we see the superhero ponies again???"

They're two little "My Little Pony" maniacs, and they were instantly entranced by your photos many months ago.  They always ask to see them again!  Their favorite is the "Spider-Pony."  Great job!)

Shaun Thanks so much and tell your daughters they are so sweet and I thank them for liking my ponies. I had a little girl send me the picture below, she wrote and said, she loved my ponies and she was going to make "My Little Ponies" one day and she included the picture that she said she used to practice her pony ideas. She said I could use it when I design my ponies. I thought that was so sweet.  Maybe your girls would enjoy coloring some ponies. I would love to see them if they do.
