Earlier this week the stork delivered this bundle of joy into my life:
Savage Sword of Conan #87 pg 37. I've been actively hunting for a John Buscema piece for well over a year now and finally found the right page at the right price at the right time. I'm thrilled! Ernie Chan's ink wash is brilliant (look at that moon!) and he doesn't overpower the pencils as I sometimes think he does. Another selling point to this page is that it basically works as a stand-alone bit of storytelling without seeing what's on the previous or following page. All that and Conan in action!
