William Stout might have given me my best experience at Cincinnati Expo last weekend. I bought his Tribute to Willis O'Brien sketchbook and then went back to purchase his beautiful book DINOSAUR DISCOVERIES. I think he knows anyone who buys that particular book from him must be about as big a fan of prehistoric beasts as he is. He whipped out a marker and asked, "What's your favorite dinosaur?" Wow! I had no idea what to say! I asked if he could draw a Dimetrodon and he said, "Sure!" and quickly got to drawing without any reference:
This will be a really special book in my collection. I look forward to pouring over the pages sometime soon.

I thought the same thing about the Pelletier piece. Really like that Mad Hatter as well.

Hey Fred, does Paul Pelletier ever ink commissions or recommend an inker? I know he has worked with several people for his published work, but wondered about his commissions. Thanks in advance.

He doesn't ink and the only way to get a commission is to get on a list, if you find him at a con. I have only had one guy ink a piece of his. Joe Prado did an incredible job on a Thing figure that Paul drew. Miki did great work on the Hulk run they worked on together too.

Last one from Cincinnati Expo and it is a gem!
I asked Franco for a sketch of Spider-Man and Man-Thing in something like the pose to this cover and I got this! Full backgrounds, cover lettering, etc. I was blown away! Great guy and great artist.
