Just got this. Hard not to have massive nostalgia, for this ship.Even though it's a pre-finished gaming miniature, it's astonishingly nice. Excellent detail, and a creditable paint/weathering job. The construction appears to be entirely injection-molded styrene. I'm surprised this isn't sold unassembled as a kit! (That's a quarter I added for scale)

Love that ED-209. Thought it was the Hot Toys at first!
This one's gonna hurt my wallet:

Finally, a Chewbacca figure utilizing "fur" as opposed to molded plastic. Hasbro attempted something similar in their 12-inch Star Wars line several years ago, but the end result left a lot to be desired - it was basically a wire clothes-hanger covered with synthetic hair. Looked a lot like roadkill.

Long puzzled by Chewie's bandolier. Does he have a sideline selling packs of cigarettes and lighters?Ah, well. This again. . . .

Again, not toys, but thought some of you here would be interested. Saw these at Kirkland last night:

Van Helsing from Diamond Select. I think it is a very well crafted figure. A shot of his "accessories."

Cadillac Cyclone XP 74. Had to find room for this, not only because it's a cool 1950s Showcar, but because of its strong resemblance to Cave Carson's Mighty Mole!
Coincidence?

Nice Cyclone!
Sam, I've been seeing covers blown up and printed on canvas here in Canada as well. I like them, but refuse to buy because I am fairly certain the licensing is putting nothing into the artist's pockets.
