Kind of a "cartoony" face on that Man-Ape sculpt. Not what Buscema drew.

Are there any white men dressed up as black ape characters -- or is that un-PC?
I'm really liking that Bullseye -- but I'm trying to rid myself of F/S statues.....MUST STAY STRONG !!!!

I figure this would be the best place to discuss this. Forgive me if it is not. I don't know how many people collect the new GI Joe action figure line but . . .
I just saw the coolest set of collections at Toy R Us. They are doing 5 collectors packs of figures paired with one of the original Movies. I saw a set for the Mass Device (with Stalker, Scuba Gear Baroness and Cobra Officer) and the Revenge of Cobra (with Roadblock, Lady Jaye and Destro). They were sets 1 & 2 of 5. But the best part! They each come with a piece that when put together forms the Mass Device itself. It looked so cool.
I am sad though because I am in the middle of a major trimming down all of my collections and can't start getting new things no matter how awesome the New Joes look. Is anyone out there buying these? I figure the remaining sets with be the Pyramid of Darkness, Arise Serpentor Arise and the Movie but I have not confirmed this yet.

There was some issue with including G.I. Joe: The Movie, so the last Battle Pack will be a "Best of".

Well I broke down, I couldn't resist any longer.
I Just oprdered the Leia Monument statue from Statuetoys.com for$595.00,
now as I scroll back the statue is now going for $682.12...what the hey??
OMG, you can Google and find two different
links to this statue one for $595.00 and one for $682.12 ...I'm not liking the looks of this.
I hope they will honor the $595 price.
