Hey, Matt, where will you put the DC's once they're available?

That's the conundrum, Thomas.  I'm thinking I'll run out of room with 8 - 10 more Marvel Figurines.  Once the DC Figurines are available in the US, forget about it!  Luckily I've got a great girlfriend and she's suggested getting shelving for my den with room to spare.  I'll probably do some shopping for those once I have a little time off in December.

Matt,

When my niece and nephews were here for the summer, one had to use my office/comic book room as a bedroom since there's a
sleeper sofa in here, so I packed up my action figures and stored them away. I hadn't unpacked them again since school started
up just as my young relatives were heading home. At the moment, they've been replaced by the Marvel figurines, so they may
stay packed away for a good bit longer. When the DC figurines are available, I will have to find some additional space.

I should add that, like your girlfriend, my wife is incredibly supportive of my comic book/super-hero hobby, and there are certain
things she likes to see displayed in my office--like these Marvel figurines.

Must...resist...getting...X-Men...

Other than a couple of question marks I haven't decided on, like Namor and Loki, I think I'm only missing Sue Richards of everything that's been released and still want.  I went from 3 figures to about 17 in the last few weeks, so I have rethink my display space also.

With relatives still in England, I have been tempted to subscribe to the DC figures, using their address. I'd end up with figures I don't want, but I'd get them as soon as they come out, not a year from now.

Addiction. . . .

As far as space and the DC figurines, my guess is that it'll take a good bit longer for the US to get them than their home country, the UK.  So I'm not all that rushed to find extra space.  I've got problems enough as it is with all these wonderful Marvel Figurines.

Addiction indeed!

Don't forget the alternate costumes, Matt:

Red Phoenix costume
Blue Angel costume
Black Spider-man costume
Grey Hulk

Addiction...

Q. forJ.B.!

In the photo you posted I see a statue of the Thing on a lower level. Is it homemade/custom? I fail to recognize it. It's excellent. Could you show a clear shot of it? (On the other thread, even?)

He looks like he's holding up the shelf above.Ha.

P.S. How long have you had it?

I've already got the Black Spider-Man costume figurine, David.  I'm not a completest, so the Blue Angel costume figurine does nothing for me.  Dark Phoenix looks interesting, but I'm not in a rush to get it.  Maybe the Grey Hulk, especially since I can't find Green Hulk, at least not yet.

I see MidTown is now soliciting Rogue, Spider-Woman and the Super Skrull.

Two for me, there.

I consider White Queen a villain…

Just because she tortured and attempted to murder the X-Men? Sheesh!
Next you'll be telling us you think Batman is a strong-willed hero and not a
psycho nut-job!

••

The Thing is home-made, as is the Dragonman next to him. Both are about
15 years old.
