Question for JB- in counting the 500 pages in your Uncanny run, did you count any pages that didn't make the published cut?••• At that time, no pages had been cut. Just a few weeks later, tho.......!!

****** That's why I asked- we're aware of what was changed just, what, a half dozen pages after the 500th, but I'd never heard if anything had gotten axed before...
Looking forward to seeing where and when you add the '500' in Elsewhen!

It's amazing that we automatically read the second panel of today's page as Gladiator seeing through Alt-Jean's mask, skin and skull (instead of there being a small, glowing device sitting atop the mask).

Contrary to "hurting the ones you love," I think we are seeing Alt-Jean Grey receiving some much-needed treatment.
It's astonishing that Gladiator is so quickly able to yank these stories into alignment.
The three issue stories in Uncanny X-Men often climaxed with the personal triumph of one of our heroes and I tended to retroactively think of the story as theirs.
That hasn't been happening so much here. Elsewhen is keeping us at a certain altitude above all the characters.
One consequence is that, to me, it feels like the story can really twist at any time and almost ANYTHING is possible.

I'd say count them all - you drew them, so count them!
And maybe post a few more of those "Methadone" pages, I need to know that the FF made it out of that Skrull incident....
This does make me realize that there's probably a ton of JB material over the years that we just never saw.

I think it should be any whole, completed page that we have been allowed to read -- so I would be inclined to include the pages in the 'methadone' thread (Might I respectfully suggest the pages from the methadone thread might be better served living separately in a locked thread away from the comments? Was great at the time, but if we're starting to consider them as part of a 500-page retrospective, the only way you can see them is by searching through many pages of comments.)
Good page today, btw. Regarding an implant ripping all the way out from the frontal lobe through the forehead: OUCH!!

Well, now that it’s out of the bag I had thought good old Mags was probably using subliminal conditioning in their rooms, but this makes him an even bigger jerk....
However, it’s encouraging to know even the alt-men aren’t actually evil.
Poor alt-Jean -always hurts to see Jean in pain... 😢
And myvote is for published pages only as part of the “official” Elsewhen 500 count

I say only count the "published" pages. The outtakes are cool, and I appreciate that you shared them with us, but I think the count should be for what made the cut officially.
